I live in a great area. My fellow church members are entertaining and creative. In May, we had a Ward Variety Show. For those unfamiliar with LDS (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) lingo, a ward is a congregation. These members of my ward were a riot.
These boys missed most of the evening. Instead, they did a lot of wandering around and playing together:
My neighbors Pam and Pete were the MC's. Pete's outfit was one I won't forget any time soon:
Ben and his kids told some jokes. At this exact moment, he was telling a pirate joke:
Lovely Miss A did a dance routine:
We have some gifted Steppers. Very cool:
A choreographed lip-sync by the kids of one of my favorite families. They are so fun and creative. Loved it!
Hula hoopers. The best part? They had to keep hooping while their little brother tried to shoot them with a nerf gun. Very entertaining!
Probably my favorite performance of the night an original lip-sync medley performed by LaDawn and family:
Bishop? You're looking a little... er.. creepy:
There were many performances that I didn't capture on the camera. A few notable ones include Lydia's piano performance and Jared singing about quirky habits of his kids. I won't forget them. Hilarious! The kids loved the performances too:
