Erick and I love to explore castle ruins. Most of our favorite discoveries have been unplanned. We'll see a sign on the road and take the next exit to see what there is to see. Today we did just that.
We started by exploring the wall and nature around the castle. We hoped that following this trail would eventually lead us up to the main castle.
When we got to the front entrance of the castle, we discovered that it had been renovated and converted into a hotel and restaurant. I bet it would be super cool to stay in one of these rooms. Don't you think? There was also a large wedding party getting their photographs taken. We tried our best to stay out of their way.
