Yesterday we found out that Erick will not be taking the four week course that should have kept us in the States until October. Instead, we are allowed to leave for Germany RIGHT AWAY!
The problem? My military passport will not arrive for three or four weeks.
Erick will spend a few days of quality time with me and the kids before he leaves without us. He will be here when the movers come to pack our stuff. He will also drive our car to Los Angeles, where it will be loaded onto a boat and shipped.
He is then off to Germany alone. We will give him two weeks or so to get our housing situation in order. Then we will join him.
This means I will be traveling overseas alone with three young children. But I'm not worried. If TJ misbehaves, I could try this:

Ooh I'm so excited for you! You really should talk to my mom about the joys of living being in the military in germany. And about flying international with three little kids!
All in a days work for military wives, eh? Just be sure to throw TJ a peanut or two along the trip so that he doesn't get too hungry... :) Best of luck to you! Can't wait for all of the fun posts from Germany! :)
I like your method of dealing with a 3 year old...at least this way no one will have to listen if he's crying...I should have tried this with Adam...he would even agree with that!! HA!! You will do fine traveling and I can't wait to hear all about your adventures! I'm so excited for all of you!!!
I think you should print that picture off so you can show your kids of the consequences of misbehaving :) Good luck!
