The Soldiers from Weapons Troop got together and gave Erick his framed guidon. Erick LOVES the guidon and LOVES this Troop. He and I were both so sad to leave. We have amazing memories of these Soldiers and their families. Some will be friends forever.
David started his first day of school a week after the rest of the kids.
For Family Night we made caramel apples. I think we messed up on the recipe though, because it was a gooey mess. A delicious gooey mess!
Joey ran for student body vice president at the middle school. She designed the most creative posters and ran a great campaign. Sadly, she did not win, so we went out for ice cream to make ourselves feel better. Ice cream makes everything better. Also, our amazing neighbor and friend Emily Dalling brought Jo some flowers. It was so thoughtful.
I've kept my window-box flowers alive for over four months. I feel like I've really accomplished something.
I attended BUNCO with a group of ladies from church. I love these ladies. It was such a fun night!
We had a get-together to say goodbye to the Johnsons, the senior missionary couple in our ward. Lots of tears were shed. We love our missionaries!
Our family discovered a unique park in Eschenbach. We spent the afternoon playing and exploring.
