We enjoyed an afternoon hiking through the cliffs and canyons. The kids loved exploring and finding leaves and flowers. Joey and Bailey also brought their cameras along to document their adventure. They are becoming quite the little photographers.
Providence Canyon is known locally as Georgia's "Little Grand Canyon." The interesting thing about it is that it didn't exist at all before the 1800's. Settlers farmed this area, and the ground beneath them began wearing away at an alarming rate. Now there are no farms here, only gullies as deep as 150 feet.
