Eating out

One of my favorite parts of going back to the states is getting to eat at my favorite places. This trip was no different.

The things I was looking forward to the most:

Panda Express
Cold Stone
Happy Sumo
Costa Vida
Cafe Rio
Dairy Queen
Papa John's

I got to eat at all of those places and more. Believe me, my waistline can prove it. Here are pictures of a few of our meal-times.

We joined Erin and Bump for Sushi at the Happy Sumo in Salt Lake:

We celebrated Grandma B's 35th (ahem) birthday at a place I had never visited before, Buca de Beppo. This place was a riot. It felt like I had just walked into a restaurant in downtown Rome, complete with a life-sized bust of the Pope on display. Good food, great company. I feel so blessed to have been married into such a fantastic family! Happy Birthday Grandma B:

Erick's brother Rick owns a Costa Vida restaurant in Lee's Summit, Missouri. Though we couldn't travel to Missouri, we thought we'd show our loyalty by eating at one here in Utah. Yummy!

Erin looks so happy to be with us this night. Food in the States is so much better than food in an Army chow hall in Afghanistan. Weird.
