Since Erick was not able to be home for Thanksgiving this year, I decided to have Thanksgiving dinner with a few hundred of my closest friends: our military family. The kids and I ate at the DFAC (the dining facility on post). The food was surprisingly delicious. I had so much food, I couldn't eat it all. The kids liked it too. Best part? No dinner dishes to clean up!
I was lucky to get to spend the day with my good friend Chanda and her kids Oaklee and Lincoln:
Here are some pictures of our crew eating dinner:
After dinner we came back to the house and ate pie and watched movies and played games. I was excited to have Brittany and Deanna join us for that part. We even changed into our sweats to be cozy and lazy. We opened a bottle of Sparkling Cider and had a blast. Here we are showing off our sweats while playing games:
Here are all the kids very late at night. They were tired. Can you see TJ's grumpy face? He needed to go right to bed. But this group played long and hard today. It's so nice to have such good friends who live nearby:
I hope your Thanksgiving was as good as mine!

I am glad you had a good Thanksgiving and that you didn't spend the day alone. I love you. You look amazing by the way!
